How to use
- Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or click a preset such as "5 min" to start right away.
- Press "Start". Use "Pause" and "Resume" as needed, or "+1 min" to add time.
- When time is up the clock blinks and the alarm rings. Press "Stop alarm" to silence it.
- Pick an alarm sound and press "Test sound" to check your volume beforehand.

Frequently asked questions
Does the timer keep running in a background tab?
Yes. The end time is fixed when you press Start, so switching tabs does not slow it down, and the alarm rings on time. It cannot ring if the device goes to sleep.
I heard no sound. What should I check?
Make sure your volume is up and the tab is not muted, then press "Test sound". Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked something on the page.
Can I link to a specific timer?
Yes. Add ?m=10 (minutes), ?s=90 (seconds) or ?h=1 (hours) to the address, for example /tools/timer/?m=10.
Is anything uploaded or stored?
No. The timer runs entirely in your browser.
